MANUFACTURE: It is not within the scope of CAP437 regulations to provide detailed advice for the design and fabrication of helideck perimeter safety nets, only that they should be of a flexible nature and contain personnel falling into them and not act as a trampoline. The ideal design should produce a `hammock` effect which should securely contain a body falling, rolling or jumping into them, without causing serious injury. New helideck perimeter safety nets from APSN are custom manufactured using the technical drawings for the helideck and are made to recognised industry standards, BS, EN, ISO, Mil Spec etc. In the case of helidecks that have been modified since first built we undertake a short survey visit to confirm frame sizes before proceeding to manufacture. We provide a range of perimeter safety nets to suit all budgets, Norsenet laminated polyester & jute fibre with flame retardant coating, Admiralty braided rope with aluminium net locks and green PVC coated galvanised wire core Chain link netting. All nets provide excellent durability and resistance to the combination of weather elements experienced in the offshore environment.

None of us is as smart as all of us.
